life update

hello hello, you lovely bunch! I’m currently sat in my new flat staring at the glorious sunshine that has finally decided to grace us, Gin in hand and feeling blissful. I’m sure this was expected after the amount I’ve been going on about moving over on Instagram; but look, let’s agree that I’ll get it all out on here and then try my hardest not to mention it as much anymore and start going about my everyday life as normal. As I’m sure you’re all aware, I have moved from my hometown Brighton, out of my family home for the first time and up north to Manchester.

It was all such a whirlwind. I literally got back from my trip to Manchester and within a month I was moving. They say that moving is one of the most testing times of your life and considering it’s the first time I’ve ‘flown’ the nest, I do believe whoever they are, are right, but I’ve been so fortunate with how my journey has begun. I had multiple late-night calls to a friend panicking, wondering if I was doing the right thing and if I could even do it. I moved up with only a place to live, little savings and no job so talk about living life on the edge.

Despite all of that, I am here. I am now employed, in my dream job no less. Have a lovely housemate who has also moved out for the first time (from Australia though, so a lot further) and have so many incredible people around me that I know I can speak to about anything already. It all seemed to fall seamlessly into place with no hassle and I couldn’t be more thankful for it.

I feel I’ve neglected my social platforms while this has been going, popping up every now and then to remind you I’ve moved and little snippets of updates but now that I can finally settle I’m hoping to come back full force with new content, new editing and just upping my game altogether. I’ve met with a fab photographer that I’m hoping to work with more as well as like-minded girls that I cannot wait to have all the coffee (wine) dates with and just have a good old natter.

Time will tell whether the move up north will work for me, I’m feeling so incredibly lucky and like I’m in a dream right now. It’s a little short final mention of my move, but maybe I can go more in depth in the future. Right now, I cannot wait to start with interior and more lifestyle based posts, I’ve even updated my shop page and added an extra home shop section if you want to check out what I currently own/am lusting after.
